Abstract

Human Development Index in Lampung Province continues to progress, marked by the continued increase in the Human Development Index (IPM) Lampung. In 2017, Lampung IPM has reached 68.25. This figure increased by 0.6 points compared with the Lampung IPM in 2016 which amounted to 67.65.

Since 2016, the human development status in Lampung has reached a "moderate" level. IPM Lampung in 2017 grew by 0.89 percent compared to 2016.

During the period 2016 to 2017, the components of IPM are also increasing. Newborns have an opportunity to live up to 69.95 years, an increase of 0.01 years compared to the previous year. 7-year-olds have an opportunity to attend school for 12.46 years, an increase of 0.11 years compared with 2016. Meanwhile, the population aged 25 years and over on average have been educated for 7.79 years, increased by 0 , 16 years compared to the previous year. The per capita expenditure (constant 2012 prices) of the community has reached Rp9.41 million in 2017, an increase of Rp257 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year.
